The Born Again Monkeys were a four piece psychedelic rock band that formed in early 2004, only to split a year after in late 2005. The members included "Ski Champ 1985!"-Vox/Guitar, "Larry"-Vox/Guitar, "Chien Mais"-Drums/Vox and "Brent Beers"-Bass/Vox/Saxaphone.

"Diarrhea in Paradise" was the first and only album recorded by the band. Most of the tracking for the album took place at the bands jam space on Hastings Street along with a few other sessions at The Factory in Vancouver B.C.

The biggest influences on this album were the rainy Vancouver nights, booze, hating jobs/lives, God, Larry , Satan, Santa, The Cambie, love, inventing new ways to have fun while being piss broke...
